What We Do
At 1UP Foundation, we harness the power of play, creativity, and innovation to bring comfort, connection, and opportunity to children and families facing serious illness. Our programs are designed to promote emotional well-being, encourage resilience, and make difficult journeys a little brighter.
Our core initiatives include:
Therapeutic and Recreational Gaming: Providing current pediatric patients and children who continue to need support after discharge with engaging gaming experiences that foster self-expression, emotional coping, social connection, and moments of joy.
Gaming-Centered Community Events: Creating inclusive events that bring together pediatric patients, siblings, caregivers, and families for memorable experiences that build community, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the power of play.
Innovation Through 3D Printing: Designing, producing, and donating 3D-printed medical education models, adaptive tools, and accessibility resources that enhance pediatric patient care, support medical education, and improve the healthcare experience for children and their families.
